New Patients - how to register

New Patient Registration

Thank you for your interest in registering with our practice.

Who can register?

We operate an ‘open’ patient list and are always accepting new patients to the practice. Anybody who is eligible for NHS services in the UK can join the practice.

For more information about registering please speak to reception by calling 0151 691 1112

How do I register?

You can register as a new patient with the practice:

Online via NHS Services, by clicking here

Or, by visiting the surgery in person

What happens next?

Once we have received the registration request, we will contact you to acknowledge safe receipt and begin the process of registering you at the surgery.

Depending on your circumstances we may then invite you to attend the practice for an appointment to find out more about your medical conditions, to do some routine checks such as taking your blood pressure, and blood tests if needed.

If you are taking regular medication your old GP practice has a duty to provide you with 30 days supply from the date you tell them you are moving practice. We would normally aim to be able to supply you with your regular medications before this point. However if you need a regular medication urgently (within the next 2 weeks) please contact your previous practice regarding this.

If you would also like to be able to access your medical information and order your medications online then the simplest way to do this is with the NHS app (opens in new window).
